My project – RedCat
Description
RedCat is a browser exploitation framework similar to BeEF. It hosts a seemingly normal website that includes a JavaScript payload. When a user visits the site, the payload is executed in their browser, allowing interaction with and remote control of the browser while the session is active.
Once the user accesses the site, the following information can be collected:
- Adblocker detection
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Screen resolution
- Installed plugins
- Device details: Type, Brand, Model
- Timezone
- Language settings
- IP address
Note: The current version focuses on functionality rather than visual design.
